"Musical Theatre Educators' Alliance was fortunate enough to have Tony present for us at our annual conference in San Diego in 2016. Everyone was so impressed and enamored with his knowledge and his presentation that we commissioned him to help us with a major organizational rebrand in 2017 and then we invited him to speak as a special guest at our conference in 2019 at NYU. I also personally contracted him to do a Skype lecture for my students when I was Head of Musical Theatre at Shenandoah Conservatory. Tony is always brilliant. He is always ahead of the curve. He is so easy to work with. And he knows the business as well as anyone. I cannot recommend him highly enough, for personal work or for a company--Tony can do it all!"
“Tony Howell’s presentation at the Musical Theatre Educators’ Alliance Conference in NY was incredibly informative and appreciated by educators from all over the world. He presents his work in a way that feels extremely inclusive and nonintimidating. It is clear he genuinely wants to make a difference in our lives and is passionate about his company. I plan to bring him to campus soon to share his knowledge with our musical theatre students so that I can better prepare them for the industry today.”
“The Tony Howell Method is nothing less than a miracle that’s been waiting to happen for us all for a long, long time. As a husband/father/teacher/performer/director/choreographer/Tony nominated Broadway veteran, the most miraculous thing of all is that Tony discovered this brilliant method by being open and by challenging himself to go deep into his own artist consciousness. The Tony Howell Method happened because he began asking himself very specific questions relating to who he is and why he wants to do this work. Let Tony take you down your very own yellow brick road so that your ‘somewhere over the rainbow’ becomes a real place where you can create your very own method of artistry.”
-Lara Teeter, The Conservatory of Theatre Arts at Webster University, St. Louis, MO
”After working with Tony on my website, I realized that my student singers at Spotlight on Opera needed his wisdom! Tony worked with our young artists for a week and they were thrilled with his workshop. He has a great presentation, very well-organized, and he is an engaging, energetic speaker. Having Tony as part of our faculty added tremendous value to our program and we hope to have him back next year!”
-Cindy Sadler, Artist + Entrepreneur, Shreveport, LA
"I loved your energy and intelligence and knew that you would be the perfect fit. You are tenacious, intelligent, extremely knowledgeable and fun! Can’t forget that part."
-Shawn Lewis, Executive Director of the Actors Studio Drama School Repertory Season, New York, NY
“Tony's passion and expertise in social media are unmatched. Not only did he come prepared with his invaluable insight, but he had designed a handout to keep students engaged and interacting, and allowed them to take these important talking points with them for future reference. We received glowing feedback from the students that they had learned so much from this discussion and were anxious to implement it into their career preparations. This class was one of our most well-received and we owe much of that to the knowledge and expertise of Mr. Tony Howell.”
-Peyton Royal, Spring Break Coordinator, Oklahoma City University, New York, NY
"You did a marvelous job and the workshop was very well-received and fascinating. Knocked our collective socks off!"
-Bonnie Erickson, Director of Educational Programming, Broadway Dance Center, New York, NY
"You're positive, authentic and connect well with the students—you invite us in. You've packaged your presentation in such a way that it's accessible and affordable. I like that it's for the performer. It's exciting to hear from someone who's one of us—someone who's actually been on stage!"
-Tony Horne, Associate Professor, University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, WI
"Tony’s presentation on creative social media was outstanding in every way—highly organized, truly engaging and inspiring. His approach to building and managing a professional career is smart, exciting, useful. Thanks to Tony, our students now have the tools to navigate the professional world with confidence."
-Rick Barbour, Department Chair, University of Denver, Denver, CO
"The presentation was informative and eye opening. I don't see how a keynote like this couldn't be relevant to anybody in business—whether the business is yourself or a product. It was absolutely applicable because it's the way that media is going. I didn't realize how important it would be."
-Mariann Cook, Associate Professor, Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ
Tony certainly has a knack for making it look easy, sound easy and doable. To me, this is the future. It's like being an actor without a headshot. It's very appropriate for colleges, graduate schools, even doctoral programs—probably different disciplines within the colleges."
-Anne Lewis, Associate Professor, DeSales University, Center Valley, PA
"I hate most things about ‘actor marketing’ and those people who typically ‘teach’ it, selling actors things they don’t need, like automated postcards that look like junk mail and self-descriptive adjective vomit. It’s all garbage, and I hate to think that actors are wasting their money. Therefore, it makes me grateful that someone is advocating the fact that ‘having something to say’, and knowing ‘how’ to say it, will always be in hopes of marketing themselves, beyond their work itself."
-Michael Cassara, Casting Director, New York, NY
"I was speaking at a conference where I was able to share the platform with Tony. I was there as a speaker, not an attendee but less than two minutes into his dynamic talk I was sucked in and writing notes faster than he could talk (which is really saying something). His content is strong, his ideas are very simple to implement, his strategies are well constructed, and his presentation is funny, credible, and energetic to say the least. In the ever changing world of social media it can sometimes seem impossible to stay on top of things. Tony makes it systematic, practically automatic, and most of all fun."
-Julian Franklin, Speaker, Houston, TX
"Even being immersed in social media management, I learned new things—your marketing tips were very helpful. The amount of research you did to give specific examples was extremely helpful and well thought out. I have looked at social media SlideShares online—they are all very similar and lack the research and examples you provide. I could tell how much quality time you put into the presentation and I think it was appreciated by all. Truly wonderful!"
-Alanna Pithis, Digital Strategist, New York, NY
"Tony Howell’s mastery of social media as a tool actors can use to move their artistic careers ahead with intelligence, forethought and honesty is remarkable. He answers so many doubts I had had as a curmudgeon of the twentieth century and has made me feel I might well find more than a niche for myself in the twenty-first through social media."
-Jeremy Lawrence, Actor, New York, NY
"Tony provides so many practical, specific and smart tips to help you with social media. It’s to the point, enlightening and filters out the essential information you need to succeed and therefore saves you time."
-Mesic Layla, Artist, New York, NY
"I found this seminar to be very informative. It was great to hear new information and be reminded of the things I already knew. I really liked how we saw different examples of professionals representing themselves with their social media. I found the detailed topics and in depth information to be very helpful. The information on staying professional and what to and what not to share was very important and very beneficial."
-Taylor Markarian, Dancer, New York, NY
“Before I took Tony's Social Artist Training, I had a basic online presence with a website and social media platforms. I didn't have much knowledge as to how to bring myself to my website. I knew I liked pink, so my website was very pink, but I wouldn't call it an outstanding representation of myself. I wasn't sure if I'd have the time to progress through a weekly course. I realized that I needed to MAKE time to progress through a weekly course. I loved the weekly trainings, and then getting to attend the live Q&A with Tony and a guest each week to get a chance to ask questions that came up was extremely helpful. I felt like I got a lot of personalized attention which can be rare in a group setting. I remember in one of the courses, Tony talked about this comedian he worked with who had an amazing picture of her face smushed against a glass door, but she wasn't using it anywhere on her website which was more uniform in terms of material. He suggested that she put that picture front and center and I remember something clicking. Tony doesn’t just teach basic do's and don'ts, but he really works to help everyone capture their unique essence online and that's what I love most. With the help of my incredible sister, I took what Tony taught us and completely revamped my website. It matches the professional that I am and want to be, and is a great extension of me. Tony's advice to me when I first started the course, was to distill my goals down to one goal to focus on at first. Once you know your goal then you can define your audience. I'd been describing myself as a real-life Kimmy Schmidt meets Amy Adams in Enchanted, and it took me some time, but I booked my first co-star role on none other than Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. And I produced my own short-film as a princess in NYC that screened at a film festival. I am still much stronger with Instagram than Twitter, but I've learned how to use both to my advantage in terms of connecting with my audience and furthering relationships. They're pretty powerful tools once you learn how to use each one!”
-Rebecca Knowles, Actor + Producer, New York, NY
"I needed to refresh and modernize all the business communication skills I had in the industry to propel the work that I do into money making ventures. I wanted to learn more and faster about how to reach the people who can make these things happen, as I'm beginning to understand how much I don't know and how much there is to learn about how to sell myself! Presence helps me focus. I need to review several times. I am beginning to see the light. I've received great feedback on my brand photo, website, and new business cards. Do it! Utilize the community, too."
-Tony Lopresti, Actor + Educator, New York, NY
“I felt lost and stuck trying to re-start my acting on-camera. I was great on headshots and so-so on other images. I struggle with the photo session itself. My wardrobe is always hit or miss (which is why I always bring in several selections), then smiling and getting the commercial ‘money shots.’ My eyes scrunch up when I smile and I'm also self conscious. Tony gave me a renewed excitement for putting myself out there: bringing me rather than what I think others want me to be. I love the image tips you have in here and the 'permissions.' I love the playlist, helpful worksheets, that there’s a weekly call-in! Really good stuff. Presence helps you realize your presence.”
-Laura Ann Parry, Actor, Chicago, IL
“I'm always looking to learn new things about perfecting my marketing and branding. I've enjoyed everything Tony has done thus far, so I'm always excited to hear what advice he has to give. I knew my photos needed an update, but that's been more of a budget issue than a knowledge issue. Honestly, the most frustrating thing is lack of budget, but the second most frustrating thing is knowing your personal branding and direction you want the photos to go in. This is where PRESENCE comes in handy. I'm feeling more motivated to update my photos. I've set up a plan, put it in writing, and I'll start saving up some funds to execute the vision. I haven't launched everything just yet, but I have cleaned up my existing content. I'm also thinking that I'll abandon the idea of managing too many social media account for every aspect of my brand - it's exhausting to keep up! I'd say, if you don't know much about, marketing and branding yourself, or need help taking the right types of photos, then go for it! I'm really grateful for Tony's information and guidance. The program is well-made and fun.”
-Isabella Tugman, Actor, Singer, Voice Over Artist, and Film Producer, Austin, TX
I had no clue what to do. I only had headshots. I didn't know how to brand myself or what to do in my photoshoot. I didn't feel confident in myself. I felt clueless. However, I loved Tony's free workshop. Because I thought he would be too expensive to work one-on-one with, I signed up. Even though I'm working with him one-on-one now too, I think this is super helpful on the side. I have tangible homework to do to know how to present myself, how to pick a photographer, how to be the CEO of me, and how to plan out photos! Someone said they thought my "apartment" website was my "dream home" and they couldn't wait to see the finished result. I also ended up redecorating my place—because Tony said to do a photoshoot in there. I finally took the action I was putting off, and I feel a million times better in my home! Work with Tony, now. I love him. He'll change how you see yourself, and that will effect how other's see you. Do it!
-Courtney Rioux, Actor + Coach, Chicago, IL
“My online presence? Embarrassing. So much of this business is done online, I wanted something I could be proud of. I wanted a grown up site, but was concerned the results would be cookie cutter or inauthentic—which was completely opposite of my experience. This program was completely personal. The focus was on my goals and taking tangible steps. Tony is a virtual, technical, savvy guide through a confusing world of social media and online presence! I’ve gotten a ton of people asking me who did my website. My visitors are wayyy up and I feel confident knowing that I have a professional site representing me.”
-Jennifer Noble, Actor, New York, NY
“My online presence was nonexistent and scary. I was resistant to technology, frustrated, confused, and feeling trepidation about where to start. In order to push myself, and because I knew it would be good for me, I say yes to Tony’s program. He has a mix of technological and advertising expertise with life-coaching, and I really liked the coaching aspect; it helped me become more motivated! I now have a much more active and streamlined media presence, a more productive work direction, as well as goals that have been accomplished—writing and producing readings of shows!”
-Will Thomason, Actor/Singer/Dancer + Playwright, New York, NY
“Bank lines and grocery store lines. That's about the extent of my on-line presence prior to working with Tony! I knew what Facebook was, but I was apprehensive about jumping in. There was so much fear of overwhelm from what I did not know and understand. After attending an in-person seminar with Tony, there was a no pressure ease to the approach and his passion and enthusiasm for the work was infectious. I call it Artist Therapy. Getting a clearer idea of who I was as an artist. I say that half joking, but there was a part of the work that felt like the work helped to fix the cracks in the foundation of who I was as an artist. So it was a clarifying of the big picture, but also looking at a bunch of smaller pictures. By stepping back, sitting down with myself, asking some important questions, and then having a plan to start to implement, I am more grounded. When working with Tony, the need to create community came up a lot and when the time was right, I felt like I had a few more tools under my belt to just go for it and make something happen. By clarify my need to create and help others create, I have become the Curator/Founder of The PlayGround Experiment. We currently have had over 100 playwrights and over 400 actors who have participated in our programs. I also have built 3 websites for my company, myself, and my side hustle. This year I was able to bring Tony in to do a seminar for the community I have built and was able to spread the word to them and him of how his help at a dark time lit the fire to make it happen."
-Mike Lesser, Actor, Playwright, and Community Leader, New York, NY
"Your course has given me more clarity on who I am as a performer and how I am reflecting myself online. Since the course, I've been offered two films through social media!"
-Simone McIntyre, Actor + Producer, London, UK
"What Tony's doing for artists is nothing short of amazing. It feels creative and collaborative! He offers a full-service menu that allows you to pick and choose based on your needs. For me, I wanted to build my brand with consistency and create a larger social footprint. I lacked a real understanding of the power of social media, and my web presence was pretty basic. So, I turned to Tony! He not only has expert knowledge of all of the different platforms, but he also has the ability to break things down into bite-sized pieces in order to teach those less media savvy how to succeed in this social media driven world. I have gained some great insight and some solid techniques to bring my presence to the next level. I’m much more savvy about social and the impact it has on my brand. I was able to fine tune my messaging and have a clear social impact.”
-Alison Mahoney, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
The Business of Show has changed. Our online presence is as important as our offline presence. My online setup didn’t have consistent messaging/branding. Because Tony conveyed a level of trust and honesty that was genuine, I had no hesitations saying yes. I wanted to learn. Tony’s information is invaluable. He genuinely cares and provides individual feedback. What really convinced me before I enrolled was the fact that it is lifetime access—meaning you get all future classes and live streams with guests. As busy as I am, I looked forward to Tony's weekly modules. His videos and live streams with top industry people kept me focused on my goals. You also become part of a supportive community of artists who are equally busy, but who have also utilized Tony's expertise. Tony is always accessible—answers every question with truth and honest feedback. Having my eyes opened to more effective uses of social media, and the need to have a consistent professional profile picture was groundbreaking. The website module opened my eyes quite a bit, too. My online game is now strong. I know how to use social media well and I adapt to the different platforms to reach my targeted audiences. I really understand now. I am grateful for all that I learned and that I continue to learn. Thank you Tony, for being on the cutting edge of technology."
-Richarda Abrams, Actress, Singer, Playwright and Producer, New York, NY
“My web presence was not great! I had a website that functioned, but it was difficult to find on Google. It was not mobile friendly, and since I didn’t design it, I had to reply on a third party to make edits. I wanted a new website and I wanted to be in control of it and I wanted it to help me get work. I made saving for it a priority investment in my career. Terrific value and investment. Tony provides the gift of relief. The gift of confidence I now have. The gift of being seen. He provides sleek, user-friendly, professional media strategies, help, education, and a dash of therapy for artists who want a digital footprint. I adore that Tony not only set me up, but you TAUGHT me what to do so that I could make edits as I go along. I’m not reliant on someone else making updates—I can do it myself. But if I forget how to do something, I have all of our video sessions archived so I may go back and review, or if I need extra help, I know I can schedule an appointment and get extra help! I love Tony and recommend him all the time.”
-Holly Anne Williams, Actor, New York, NY
"I wanted a website where I could compile information about my career in one place. The biggest value of this class is the final product.... a beautiful and functional homepage! However, watching Tony's design process and hearing the rationale behind each choice was invaluable. I feel like I'm better poised to launch my career in the direction I want to go. I have a better understanding of how to make myself more visible online and how to use the web for networking. I am set up to confidently make website adjustments on my own and am hoping the website will play a direct role in future bookings!"
-Daniel Hurst, Actor, Chicago, IL
"Social media was something I'd been avoiding, mostly out of fear. Tech overwhelm kept my online presence pretty nonexistent! However, my career demanded it. Tony is incredibly knowledgeable and generous with his expertise. He is so passionate about what he does—and it comes out so clearly in all his trainings! He tailors his programs to the individual's needs. His focus on branding makes the work more meaningful. Tony makes social media accessible and not so overwhelming! I learned a tremendous amount and have gone from a nonexistent online presence to a healthy, growing one!”
-Rachel Errington, Actor, New York, NY
"I had a website that I wasn't pleased with and I didn't have any strategy for how to approach my online presence. I felt like it was a big job, but I was excited—because Tony is awesome. He is a knowledgeable, calm, and fantastic guide for how to approach one's online presence without it feeling too overwhelming. I love Tony’s way of looking at social media—he knows it is based in being real people first. I trust all his advice and have learned so much from his course. Even if you think you know how to use social media, I guarantee this class will blow your mind. Brilliant—showed me how to use social media in a way I had never conceived of. It’s just so wonderful to have someone who has knowledge in the area, and is a guru in this online world! I love his holistic approach to the work!”
-Shiloh Goodin, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"Tony adds pizzazz to any course he teaches. He is constantly discovering current trends, and is so generous with his knowledge and know-how. Tony is always there to answer questions, to help you create specificity for your brand and to give you a high five. This isn't a one-size-fits-all course. This is a 'find the size that fits YOU' course. I can't recommend it highly enough!"
-Susan Eichhorn Young, All Things Voice, New York, NY
"I got to stop stressing about it all. This course has shown me clear steps for how to manage my online presence and keep moving forward. It costs less than hiring a social media expert to work on your business for a month, and it gives you all the tools to do it for yourself forever. Also, the guest experts are also second to none. This combination of systems, feedback and lasting tools constitutes an unbelievable value. I simply couldn't recommend this course more highly!"
Bonnie Swencionis, Actor + Model, New York, NY
"Tony's enthusiasm is infectious and his guidance through the entire process has been extraordinary. Many of the people I've become acquainted with lately has been a direct result of them coming across a video of me singing on YouTube or visiting my website—therefore reaching out to me. Yay, social media!"
-Joshua Lance Dixon, Actor + Singer, New York, NY
"I spent money, time and effort to obtain new headshots, reels and demos. I felt that the best place to showcase these things was a website. I had tried to build one on my own, but I needed support. What seemed like an impossible thing became possible with Tony's class. I now have a website and can maintain it myself. Tony is inspiring—positive, personal, professional and passionate about the business! All of this comes through in his teaching, and I was so excited for every class!"
-Bonnie Borst, Actor + Model, Houston, TX
"Tony provides a large amount of information in clear and concise training. Some concepts seem too simple to be effective, but you would be surprised at how the simplest steps can make a world of difference! Some concepts are a little more complex, but Tony makes sure to guide you smoothly along the journey. The process was exciting and fun. It fit easily into my already hectic schedule. I now have a super sexy website that works on mobile devices, made some VIP connections and learned how to post quality content with effective strategies to maximize impact on social media."
-Geoffrey Mergele, Actor, Hallandale Beach, FL
“Tony is awesome. He is the person who first gave me guidance on social media (I'm now almost at 10K followers from about 300.) But the number isn't as important to me as what it has generated. I have received lots of media coverage, connected with major players in the music business, been asked to write for several publications and have met people in person and formed relationships all because of Tony and what he taught me about engaging on Twitter! I returned for the full brand audit—which is worth its weight in gold. Tony is super smart and very up on today's branding and digital platforms. There's a lot of info to take in, but take it step-by-step and you will see great results! Highly recommend.”
-Leslie Becker, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"Tony was so great with giving us actionable ideas and information that we have so, so much explore. We got everything that we were hoping for and more! His expertise is thorough, relevant and so valuable! We've been able to further refine and streamline our entire social media approach, as well as implement some fresh and fun content ideas. I have and will continue to recommend Tony to anyone looking to refine or beef up their digital marketing and branding strategy."
-Jason Weston, Photographer, New York, NY
"Tony is fabulous and a world of knowledge on all things social. Everything he does is brilliant. Plus, he's fun! In order to do this social thing right, I simply cannot do it all myself. There's no end to how much I can learn from him and the ever-changing world of social media."
-Mary Anna Dennard, CEO, College Audition Coach, Dallas, TX
"I’ve learned how to handle information efficiently. It’s like Tony upgraded our tool from mallets and stone to scalpels and lasers. Though it was a very hectic time in our season when we had him, we still were able to streamline many aspects of the organization’s media. We can now confidently focus on the avenues of communication with our audiences which were not as clear before. Simplifying what can seem chaotic to a system we can manage (that starts with where we actually are and then growing from there) was a gift."
-Marcus Paul James, Marketing Director, Broadway Inspirational Voices, New York, NY
"When Tony reminded me to 'keep it simple,' I feel like I got my real life back! Creating a clear message for my social media audience is key and way more effective. Doing this has helped me get off my computer/smart phone and get on with enjoying my personal, private life!"
-Gabrielle Ruiz, Los Angeles
“Tony is a man of many talents. He is the perfect blend of career coach, social media marketing guru and technical, design expert. We all know creative people have several passions and are trained to wear all the hats. While my various pursuits can feeling overwhelming, Tony helped me zero in on naming goals that live at the intersection of Art & Commerce. His ability to evaluate my digital presence and provide a comprehensive road map is extraordinary. I’ve been craving a digital overhaul and my session with Tony was exactly the motivation I needed to start 2018 with a bang!”
-Mara Jill Herman, Actor + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
“When I decided to go for it, I knew Tony was my guy to go to to make it happen. First off, I knew Tony from our work together in a show, and I knew that if I ever wanted to launch a project, he would be an invaluable resource. He’s nailing it! Tony’s the best marketing, business, promotional know-how out there for artists! He explained everything I had a question for and more! I love the clarity and the artist-centric mentality that Tony brings to all he does. And most of all, he leads with his heart. I actually have a following and an identity that I understand and can encapsulate, in just a few sentences, as opposed to some vague idea with no real world application.”
-Bulletproof Bette, Writer, New York, NY
“Cost is always a factor, but more importantly, making sure it's a good value. Tony is so good at at website development and social media support, and it shows from his previous work. The attention to detail and the focus on the client. These are wonderful yet rare traits. If anything, he’s made us want to do better at our jobs. Tony and his team are so good and the quality is so high, it inspires us to do the same.”
-Ryan Bailer, Actor + CEO, New York, NY
"I had a great experience with Tony in our first session. He is helping me to wrap my head around the rapid changing business environment of the internet and define a new direction for the online studio I've been running for nearly 20 years. I hope this is the beginning of a long and successful working relationship."
-Jonathan Becker, Artist + Entrepreneur, Muncie, IN
“I wasn’t consistent. I wanted my brand to be the same. I felt overwhelmed and thought it would be a lot of work to conquer. Tony was really helpful and laid out a great plan for me. He is thorough, to the point, and efficient. I brought in a list of things I wanted to accomplish and he was able to figure them out.”
-Sulekha Naidu, Actor, New York, NY

-Jaron Frand, Actor + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"Tony is so approachable and thorough and went above and beyond all expectations! I met with him to gain more understanding of effective digital strategies and ended up with that and so much more. He is really amazing at taking whatever your brand, whatever you're doing or trying to get, and catering his approach to you. What I found so refreshing and so wonderful is that he listened and came up with a plan—right there, and was absolutely incredible and better than I could ever imagined. Not only did he majorly revamp my website, he helped me gain a greater knowledge of applications and functions. He also really helped me understand my social media, understand what an audience sees. You know, there's so many ways you can put content out there, but he really helped me understand how to effectively do it and how to really connect to my audience. I've seen more likes, more engagement, more email subscribers and receive a lot of compliments on the website! His knowledgeable, thorough, tested-and-true approach and welcoming demeanor make him an asset to any business.
-PRIMME, Artist, New York, NY
"If I could give Tony ten stars, I would! I've worked with Tony on not one, but two projects now. I set up a recent session with him in regards to my YouTube series that I've created. I knew Tony could help focus my goals, teach me tricks, help me fine tune my brand and take things to the next level. When I walked in at the start of our meeting, Tony jumped right in with an incredible game plan for me and a lot of information I am now able to take with me and use to further my project and career. I'm already looking forward to the next time I get to meet with him! He is worth every penny and more."
-Hillary Colleen Smith, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"In this day and age, the key to promoting anything is social media. I posted on Facebook that I was looking for someone to help with my Twitter strategy and Tony was mentioned twice. He was very helpful before we even had a consultation. After we'd met, I felt so much secure in my tweeting skills and I was armed with useful knowledge. Lucky for me, he recorded the meeting. Our biggest gain was getting comfortable with using different platforms to help us with the Twitter game. As a result, we got an additional 300 followers our first week. It was such an amazing experience that we now enjoy using Twitter!"
-J. Cameron Barnett, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"I've learned a lot from Tony through his fun and informative blog posts and I finally had a great one-on-one session with him to review and strategize a marketing plan. Tony didn't waste any time and was sure to focus on my needs. He made suggestions that made total sense based on my goals, knowledge and tech devices I have to work with. What initially felt like a lot of work now felt like a fun challenge as he helped to put the pieces together. Tony summarized our discussion at the end and even provided an audio/video of our session for reference. Tony is professional, knowledgeable and charming -- great to work with. Thanks, Tony!"
-Mary Lahti, Actor, New York, NY
"Tony in one word is brilliant! He is knowledgeable, thoughtful, strategic, professional, and he truly wants to see you succeed! I am the type of person who wants to do it all! Pretty soon I had multiple pages across every social media channel and my website. Tony looked at everything and gave me honest feedback and really helped me focus on my goals, what was important to me, and helped me strategize how I could use the things I had already built to get me there. We refined my brand together based on my desired outcome and when I walked away, I felt like I had a clear road map to where I needed to go. When I came to Tony I thought I needed to 're-brand' and start from scratch. Tony gave me the tools I needed to take action immediately to make my brand more cohesive instead of starting completely over. I do everything like I have six months to live so the fact that I knew exactly what steps I needed to take after our meeting was huge! I would definitely recommend working with Tony!"
-Tara Rae Bradford, Publicist, New York, NY
"TONY IS AMAZING - he is everything you've ever wanted in a coach, mentor, visionary, and friend. He is positively bursting with ideas and energy and can't wait to share his knowledge with you, which is vast, from branding, to content strategy, to web design, social marketing and more. Tony is the rarest of human beings who just immediately 'gets it,' all while making you feel as if you're the only person/project in the world. He's a treasure!"
-Jeanette Bonner, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"Tony is a rockstar. He totally renovated my social media life, and, being the positive personality he his, also worked on some of my real life obstacles as well! So far, after just two weeks of work, I have seen more than a 25% increase in my Twitter followers, a similar increase in my Facebook followers, and have even gotten some promising employment feedback from those whom I respect greatly in the business. All of this is a result of working with a company that deeply understands and cares about its clients."
-Joe Redman, Actor, New York, NY
"I’ve been friended and/or followed by some people I would work with in a heartbeat, which makes me feel like I’m already part of the community I’m seeking to join! I’ve learned to think of my brand as my identity, or vice versa, rather than a costume/package I take on and off."
-Richard Wayne, Actor, New York, NY
"Tony was so helpful with my website. I'd already built the majority of it, and he generously helped solve a couple of issues I couldn't crack on my own. He listened very attentively to my questions, addressed each very thoroughly, and helped me with issues I didn't even know I had. After my meeting with Tony, I felt much better about the progress I'd made and about how to get the most out of my site!"
-Adam Wolfe, Musician, New York, NY
"I had my domain and had the very bare bones in place, but there was minimal design and very little polish. I cobbled it together on my own with the skills and free-time I had at the time. Let's just say, I give myself credit for what it was, but it wasn't good enough - not for me, not for my clients, not to compete in the market, and not to represent me and what I do. It was there, I guess, but wasn't really a cohesive, thoughtful and welcoming 'home' as Tony calls it. I wasn't sure what it would be like to delegate such a complex and personal project to someone else. At the beginning, too, I was in a tight financial situation, so trusting someone else with my IP, data, digital presence and hard-earned money was a tough one! Because I could see where I wanted to be, and what it would take if I tried to become an expert and implement everything on my own, I hired Tony. There is enormous value in realizing what you’re good at doing, and realizing where it's worth it to outsource and partner with someone who can help you! Tony provides a tangible service, but also one that feels safe. He’s on the pulse of the important social media/marketing trends and offers accessible, honest and entertaining assistance! Tony and his team are always striving to over-deliver and really understand each client so that the end result is really representative of them. Beyond that, Tony will provide you with honest guidance on complex decisions that have to be made in design, business, or functionality. You feel like you’re working on a team (not just a client), and when you're in business for yourself, it's nice to feel like you're not alone. And the best part? I got a friend out of it! I know, it's kinda cheesy, but honestly, I did. You can't really put a price on someone just 'getting you'. It made the work easier, it made me feel validated and things eventually went really quickly as well - which is a cost savings, too! I have personally benefitted, but so have my clients and so has the product! I’m now much more connected to my brand and customers because I feel supported and empowered to provide a service to them in the way I want to, and through the 'home' that I want to. What better benefit than feeling proud of your work and your self? I know how helpful it has been to me to hear from people who have told me that they like my work, they like me, and that what I do makes a difference - so I'll say the same to Tony! Thank you!"
-Lindsay Rider, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"Tony helped me with tweaks on my website that ended up being invaluable. He turned what was previously a multi-step process in getting new clients into a 1-step process. It's made all the difference in putting on new business. Now, when someone contacts me through my website, they've already made the decision to work with me. I don’t have to 'sell' them on anything. Working with Tony was eye-opening, informative, game-changing and, also, a lot of fun."
-Michael Buckley, Actor + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"Tony provided me with a terrific coaching session for the website and social media content of my new non-profit company, New Amsterdam Opera. His critiques were extremely helpful, and the changes were very easy to implement to bring my web presence to a higher level! The session was tough, thorough but always supportive. Thanks, Tony!!"
-Keith Chambers, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"I met Tony through a seminar he did Stagedoor Connections. I instantly knew from his energy I wanted to work with him more personally! He is warm and friendly, but also a wealth of knowledge, tips, tricks, and advice! He is generous and makes the overwhelming task of trying to conquer the world wide web feel more achievable! I feel lucky to have crossed his path."
-Erika Lynn Guthier, Actor, New York, NY
"Tony was super helpful in our meeting and really helped me clarify my social media plan. He is extremely knowledgable and makes the world of social media not so overwhelming. He's such a sweet person and made me feel like he really cared about my success!"
-Kelsey Andres, Actor, New York, NY
"I wasn't sure how to separate my acting from my coaching to make them both work efficiently. Tony’s knowledge of creating an online empire has proved incredibly helpful and inspiring. He has helped me organize and make sense of so much social media overload. I finally feel like my online empire can be built in an organized and authentic way."
-Bret Shuford, Actor, New York, NY
"For years I worked as a Producer on Broadway shows that obviously utilized social media, but I never engaged for my personal use and expression. Tony was fantastic in initially helping me sweep through my own Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram so that I became very well versed in each of these platforms. I learned that once I was completely fluent in the language and use of various social media platforms—it was really effortless to keep up! Since then, I've consistently come to Tony with specific social media questions and with specific goals in mind. He comes to the table with organized research and thoughts prepared for our work together that delivers productive food for thought and direction that leads towards success! And - he does it in his way - his style - which is personable, positive, and comprehensive! Tony is fantastic!!!"
-Fran Kirmser, Producer, New York, NY
“My web presence was scattered and outdated. I had incorrect IMDb info and no website. After setting aside the time to do some careful and strategic thinking, then battling my own inertia around pooling information, I hired Tony Howell. He is a wizard! Tony’s professional, prompt, funny, and a great listener. He makes you feel like you are the only one in the world who has a website! Now, I now have ONE location for all my different modes of expression and teaching. I can direct people to my website and people can receive a much more comprehensive picture of who I am, the work I do, as well as the person I am. Thank you!!”
-Victoria Clark, Artist + Teacher, New York, NY
“Besides my writers residence online portfolio and published work via search, my web presence was nonexistent. I wasn’t sure how I wanted to come across, and not sure if I was ready. Still, I needed to just do it. It was the right time, in a deeper place. Tony's energy is exceptional and healing and encouraging. Sincerely. It was so fabulous to meet in NYC when we were in final stages, to sit down and feel our collective spirit. He anticipates needs so well that I never felt I was lost for help or alone ... not one moment. His tutorials are exceptional. He cares and you can feel it! Having a website with all of my skills on it was incredibly empowering and allowed me to connect with people. I would say this year has been the biggest year because, while the first edition was excellent, I was not positioned in a place in the world and personally to really see the power of it. Now I have formed a deeper relationship with the whole site and it is alive to me. I update content and send newsletters and get feedback from people who are so impressed that I do so many things. I’m almost a year in Switzerland, and the impression people get from my site is important to networking here and building my entire life. That Swiss people are impressed is a huge compliment!!! Tony and his team are so great and supportive and I am continually humbled by how much they still keep in touch with and care about me as a client. I would recommend them over and over! I’d start with an audit to at least begin to hone your public facing image online. The whole process is ongoing, but we all have to start or at least be aware of the consequences of avoiding it.”
-Emily Alp, Artist, Langenthal, Switzerland
“Before working with Tony, my web presence was abysmal. His full-service instruction and clear expertise filled me with confidence. He simplifies everything and makes it seem easy. My online presence has since grown exponentially from total ignorance to social media popularity. Of course, that carries a ripple effect. If my name was Goldilocks, I’d have to say ‘Everything is just right!’”
-Roma Torre, NY1 Anchor + Theatre Critic, New York, NY
“My web presence was nonexistent, out of date, and not user-friendly. #Sad. Having zero knowledge with site building/computers, I found great ease and joy with meeting Tony. He’s a wonderful person to work with. He delivers exactly what the client wishes and beyond—with personal and unique touches. I have complete confidence in him, his ideas, and could not have wished for a friendlier and creative person. The ability to control my own site, to update whenever I need and have it look professional and beautiful, I could not be any happier with the process. Since working together, I’ve had countless performance and teaching opportunities, including a show on Broadway!"
-Dr. Ray Wong, Pianist, New York, NY
“I did everything myself for the last 10 years. I had pretty basic knowledge of social media and email, but didn't have anything under one umbrella. I was nervous giving up control and paying for an expensive service, but Tony was clear about his vision for me. He also knew the tools to help me there and my past history from an outside perspective. Tony offers clear goals, as well as and outcomes with efficiency and timelines! I now only have ONE inbox for everything. Coaching request forms are more efficient, and I learned how to customize template responses on emails and how to keep my brand and messaging consistent.”
-Natalie Weiss, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
"Tony Howell is incredible. What an asset he has become in my professional life. I was always of the mindset that someone with a career like mine didn't need a website. Oh boy, was I wrong. Tony helped me to realize that I needed the 'right' website, something especially for me. What a gift he has been—and he's the gift that keeps on giving. I literally have a place where professionals, regular people and employers who are interested in me can go learn what I'm doing and explore what I've done—all in one clean, concise, and very cool place. I only share when I think it's beneficial. Tony Howell's expertise and knowledge would benefit any artist's career. No matter the level—it'll take you higher!"
-Nathan Lee Graham, Artist, New York, NY
“Without a website showing who I was, I was at the mercy of anyone on the internet who wanted to write or post about me. I was controlled by others. Though I was nervous about putting myself out there, I realized it was important for potential collaborators to know who I was from my point of view. Tony is a social media expert on Backstage, which is where I discovered him. After reading his articles, watching his #TellMeTony videos and visiting his website, I knew Tony was the one for me. Tony made the process of creating a website so easy and helped me create my place on the web that I am thrilled with. Tony is clean, clear, concise, and gives you straight answers. He’s direct, creative, professional and trustworthy. He turned what I thought would be a potentially nerve wracking experience into a fun opportunity to explore myself. Not only did Tony deliver a beautiful, well crafted website and set me up on social media platforms (which gave me the opportunity to share who I am with anyone interested in learning more about me), but he exceeded my expectations all the way around. In fact, a known movie director found me on Twitter and offered me a role in his new movie after looking at my website!”
-Mindee de Lacey, Actor, Los Angeles, LA
“I had zero online presence. No website, and a pretty non-existent social media presence. Even the thought of "putting together" a website was overwhelming. I resisted the idea and didn’t take action on it for many years, because it felt like a hurdle that would be too great to overcome. I just couldn't wrap my head around the idea, let alone know where to start. There was also an element of fear about putting myself out there to the world, and not being super clear about how I wanted the world to see me. I knew I couldn't do it alone. I needed to hire someone to help guide me. I met Tony through a mutual friend who's website and web presence I love, and after a meeting Tony and discussing my goals and hearing how he could help me, I said yes! The journey began! I love that Tony helped me narrow down my vision to a very clear and specific set of goals for how I want my web presence to represent me and the work I do. I love that I have to dig deep to get clear with my own goals through a process that is FUN. That's the imperative part of the process that I have enjoyed the most - it is FUN. In my experience (though I know Tony offers a lot more in other areas!) Tony’s provided me with a beautiful website and web presence that is, at it's core, a true, authentic representation of me. Beyond that product, Tony provides a hands on, personalized process that feels safe, supported and inspiring. My site hasn't launched yet - but I've gotten incredible feedback just from the temporary site. I can't wait to see the internet explode once my full site launches! 🤓”
-Sara Brians, Director, Choreographer + Educator, New York, NY
"Tony and his team delivered the website I envisioned—clean, crisp, modern, user-friendly and exciting! They’re extremely helpful once the site is launched as well as with excellent customer service, follow-up and analytics. I also love how many visitors to the site remarked at how easy this redo was to navigate. Thumbs up from everyone!"
-Lea Salonga, Artist, New York, NY
"I'd been wanting to do a website for so long I can’t even tell you, and Tony helped me make this dream come true. He is EXCELLENT at what he does and from the first moment we spoke on the phone, I knew I was gonna love the hell out of him. Tony is efficient, creative, supportive, and WISE. He has a great eye for details and is just literally a dream! I am so proud of this site, and the feedback has been so beautiful and it lets me know it’s doing exactly what we wanted it to do!!! I am so grateful! My website is going to change peoples lives and this truly is my 'dream home'!"
-Sierra Boggess, Artist, New York, NY
“My web presence was a mess. Scattered. I basically had two businesses that should have been one, but I was nervous having to uproot what I had to start something new and from the ground up. Tony helped me rethink who I am, what my business does, and clearly presented me a path to success. Realizing that what I had was garbage, and because what Tony said made sense (especially in the clear and persuasive way he delivered the idea to me), I took advantage of his FULL. SERVICE. AWESOMENESS. Tony dedicated time to me and made me feel like I was the only thing that mattered until the project was done. He streamlined my life and my client base has grown exponentially and I owe a lot of that to my website. My website is now a TOOL for me to use to engage clients. It's more than JUST a portfolio. I’ve gotten so many compliments --- SO MANY. People literally look at my site and go ‘Oh wow, You're legit!’ If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, trustworthy professional to assist you in identifying and executing your brand and making your website so kick ass—then Tony is absolutely your guy. He just gets it. He’s a master of the craft of online: website, SEO, brand execution, and understanding your audience. He makes clear what was once a muddy mess in my brain. Tony's services are worth the investment!!"
-JJ Ignotz, Photographer, New York, NY
“I didn't have an online showroom. Yes, I had my social media channels but there wasn't a clear way to get my services, read testimonials, get more of my voice + vibe and clearly be able to connect with people who were looking for me online. I knew I needed it, but often you think if you just "throw something together," it will be good enough. I knew I needed to invest in my business in a real way. You can't mess around with your online presence! There is no one better than Tony to combine aesthetic, functionality, and technology for a compelling look online. Period. He makes it seamless: website creation and online presence coaching that captures your voice and vibe so you stand out online! I love how hard Tony works to make sure you walk away feeling fully equipped and prepared to flip the switch. Within the first month of having my new site up, I made the money back. Prospects went to the site and loved the look and feel of it. It was easy to contact me and understand my services. It was the best investment I made last year!
-Marisa Corcoran, Copywriter, Atlanta, GA
“I have worked with Tony for three years now on two different websites; my personal website and one for my one-person show. In both cases, the working experience was one of the best I’ve ever had. It's rare to find someone who is both an intuitive, thoughtful, elegant and sensitive artist and a responsible, ethical, visionary businessperson. Extremely rare. Every time I connect with Tony I always feel empowered and enlightened. Also, I feel that everything is done with integrity. Tony is straightforward, responsive, passionate, and full of ideas on the one hand, but also able to combine his expertise with the very individual and unique person and artist that each one of his clients represents. I don’t feel that Tony has a 'cookie cutter' mentality but instead hears, sees, and really creates a new vision for each client. I always felt and feel comfortable, heard, and as though we are working together as a team. He works with remarkable organization, meets (and often is done in advance of) all deadlines, sets up extremely clear goals and expectations, and to top it all off, includes a way for his clients to learn how to maintain their own sites. He is a wonderful and patient teacher. Plus he makes it fun! His professionalism, responsiveness, warmth, flawless design sense, impeccable technical execution, and great taste make the investments reasonable and appropriate. In every way, the websites represent to the world how I want to be seen and considered. I know that, whatever happens in the rest of my career and this profession, I am in the strongest and most capable hands possible when it comes to my online presence. Tony and his team are thoughtful, tasteful, intelligent, and provide clear results that NEVER HAVE FAILED to impress everyone who sees it. I’ve had many casting directors, fellow actor friends, and other professionals remark on how beautiful, clear, elegant and informative my personal site is. Our show booked a performance and secured a very reputable publicist because she was so impressed by the site! I feel absolutely confident when people look at my website, they are getting as true a feel of who and what I am as they can without me actually being in the room with them. Tony has helped me, and continues to help me, tell my story online with dignity and elegance. And his own example of hard work and constant invention is inspiring. I would (and already have) recommend them to anyone.”
-Kate Fuglei, Actor + Writer, Los Angeles, LA
“I wanted to collaborate with a strong and facile mind that didn't work like mine. I chose Tony. Over the years, I had taught myself enough about coding (THAT was the old days) and, later, about the available platforms and I had built a series of serviceable websites on my own. I was an early adopter of both Twitter and Instagram, but my use of both—much like my DIY websites—was purely by intuition. Once I had time and money to devote to setting up a better online presence (and once I'd bumped into Tony IRL on the A train), I was happy to dig right in. That real life encounter on the A train made all of the difference. I liked Tony’s energy in-person even more than I liked his online presence—the fact that your real self and online self were in agreement showed me you knew the importance of truth in digital representation. Tony offers you a very sophisticated tool (made up of many tools, really) that you can use to honestly and accurately represent yourself. He’s comfortable making room for opinions on form and content even as he was strong and clear in making sure I was getting the full value of his expertise.Honestly, I was a little sad when we launched. I actually had that feeling I used to have when I completed a particularly great directing project when I would look up at my collaborators and say, 'That was cool! What else can we do?' My agents and my friends in casting have given me nothing but excellent feedback on the site. In my coaching practice, I know it's brought me clients. They've said so. I get 25% of my clients from web search and recommendations. Nearly every single one of those clients mentions my website and my social media feed as a contributing factor in their hiring me.”
-Christopher Gurr, Actor + Coach, New York, NY
"The process took longer than I thought, but that was my doing. I was slow to do my homework and turn it in. In the end, the website looks fantastic. I’m very pleased with it and it’s getting me more work! It has the professional look that my career needs to move it up the ladder of success. I’m now getting booked for roles without even auditioning. I’ve had CD’s check out my site and then offer me the work. Woohoo!"
-Kelly L. Moran, Actor + Entrepreneur, Washington, D.C.
“I had an online presence, but it wasn’t doing much for me. Disparate parts and pages made for a bit of a clunky experience for the viewer. I didn’t have a cohesive product to put out to the public. I was slightly hesitant about the cost associated with the services. I was going from a web setup that cost me nothing to a web, social media, and branding strategy. That can be scary for the wallet. Ultimately you need to make an investment in yourself. You also get what you pay for… and if you want to be taken seriously in this industry, you need to look the part, especially in the digital age. The product provided here is more than worth the investment. Tony and his team provide a high quality, striking product that pulls a viewer into the site and encourages them to interact. They make sure that your site, branding, and social media are uniquely you! Everything is thought through to provide a cohesive product. Even if you are not requesting social media services, the team thinks through your future and sets you up for the day when you want to include social media in your brand. There isn’t a single person who has interacted with my website who hasn’t told me how much they enjoyed its refreshing simplicity and it’s honesty. Fans of Jersey Boys have been able to interact with me through an awesome brand that is truthful and organic. Thank you for the dedication and care you put into your projects, Tony.”
-Mark Edwards, Actor + Writer, New York, NY
“While a website seemed like it would cost a lot of money upfront, and an expensive thing to upkeep, it is where the business is headed... and it’s a way of competing (online presence management). Tony knows what he is doing and provided exactly what I needed. He's able to capture the essence of the artist through the website. The work he and his team do is top notch. I had a very strong goal going into this process. Three days after we went live I had achieved that goal—booking work at major orchestras due to Tony’s help. I can't call it a magic pill, but I can say that this website enabled me to reach that goal in an expedited amount of time. I now have the tools and know how to manage my online presence and continue to grow it. I love the clean and easy to understand formats and I have. Tony is just the right choice when it comes to this stuff!”
-Chris Blem, Actor, New York, NY
"Tony is a great guy who has a ton of knowledge to offer. Take advantage of his skills. He redid my website in a very short amount of time and the following week, I signed with an agent. I have no doubt that his work helped me accomplish this huge goal. Thank you Tony for all that you do!!!"
-Kim Shriver, Actor, New York, NY
“Before meeting Tony, our website was ‘there’ and sadly out-of-date. Far from current functionality and taste, and not serving our needs. Finding and choosing a website designer is such a scary process! So much rides on the communication between designer and client, and the visions of each. How do you know when you begin that you’ll be a good fit together? Tony was recommended to us by a trusted friend in the business, and we were immediately impressed with his knowledge of the world of online branding, and the vision and energy he brings to the process. It has been an immense pleasure working Tony Howell to create new branding, design and a marketing plan for our new headed-for-Broadway musical. From start to finish, Tony is endlessly creative, impressively organized, thoroughly knowledgeable, always responsive, amazingly quick, wonderfully bright, always cheerful, and completely businesslike yet warmly personable. He thinks in broad strokes as well as the fine details needed to bring it all to life. And, so delightfully, is a pure joy to work with. We were so impressed with Tony’s collaborative spirit, fast turn-around, and constant communication. He organizes his time beautifully so we know exactly what to expect and when. We always feel so well taken care of by Tony and his team! We’ve gotten so much more than we bargained for and are so grateful for the full range of vision and services Tony provides. So much more than a website, for sure!! Tony provides a path for us to expand our business using the array of great tools he provides. Tony’s facility in the online world has brought us to a new appreciation for what can be done online to create a presence and promote our work. In ways we hadn’t imagined! There is much for us to explore and Tony is a sure and patient guiding hand in the process. We recommend Tony and his work without reservation and look forward to working with him for our upcoming projects!”
-Debra Wakefield and Richard B. Evans, Seacastle Music Company, San Francisco, CA
"I’d tried to do things on my own for awhile, but it didn't look as professional as I wanted. I was sending people to my website, but it continued to give off the impression that I was young and still figuring things out. I was afraid of the investment of brand building and management, and I was nervous about not being totally in control. After seeing Tony’s keynote presentation at MTEA, I was incredibly impressed. I knew that he was MUCH more knowledgeable than I could ever be and that he had worked with people in my exact same position. Both of my websites have been brought up in conversations for job interviews or just meeting a new friend. I love that they are clean, accessible and that I was given the tools to do everything myself in the future. I love directing people to my websites because I know they will learn a lot about me as a person and the sense of professionalism I bring to each project. I also like that I have learned more about what builds a brand and website! I can go on to share it with my students as they enter the business.”
-Jessica M. Humphrey, Actor, Producer + Educator, Fort Worth, TX
“My web presence was amateur at best. While my website had the material/information needed, it definitely was not any sort representation of what my work as an actor is and who I am. Honestly, I wasn’t very knowledgeable about how important an online presence can be for your career, whatever it may be, and how to have it done correctly—to represent you the best way you can be represented. I was also very concerned about the financial commitment. I ended up saying yes because I felt like Tony took the time to get to know me not just on a professional level, but also on a personal. He made it easy to connect and communicate. He made sure that every doubt/concern about the project, including the financial commitment, was acknowledged, explained and answered. The process is like a friendship with lots of good chats and laughter. Together, you create an incredible virtual home that seamlessly balances and blends who you are professionally and personally. My website represents me, both personally and professionally, and I absolutely LOVE it! Everything! But the journey to the finished result was incredible as well. Tony took the time to establish a connection, authentically took interest in knowing me.Ever since my website was launched, the amount of responses back from submissions, auditions, callbacks have at least doubled. Not only that, but I also have more confidence about my work, especially when showcasing it online. We created something that is representative of the truest form of who I am.”
-Victor Souffrant, Actor, New York, NY
“I had no online set up before Tony except for a Facebook page I never visited. I was terrified of social media and I was afraid I was presumptuous that anyone would be interested in my webpage. Tony convinced me that as an artist and teacher, I had a voice, that my work, past and present, was utterly unique, and that he could help me put myself out there through a coordinated use of a webpage and social media. Tony offers artists and entrepreneurs incredible vision, knowledge, and business savvy, with the ability to meet each client at their most human point of need—guidance to define who they are, what they do, and how to successfully market that unique self and service to the world through social media. He helps you find a voice the world wants to hear and pay for!”
-Michael Hayden, Actor + Educator, Chicago, IL
"Hiring Tony was the best investment I made in my business as an artist. Tony helped me to clarify and create my brand. He not only has the superb technical skills but also the intuition and passion to create a website that says who you are, why you exist and how you add value to your tribe. I love how he made this a collaborative effort. Tony is a heart-centered, online presence innovator and client clarity producer. This experience became a self-revealing journey that helped me to recognize and acknowledge my accomplishments. It provided me with a sense of renewal and helped me to laser focus on my dreams. My booking rate has increased and I'm attracting organic projects as a result of working with Tony and his amazing team!"
-Sheilah Smiley, Artist + Entrepreneur, New York, NY
“My web presence was scattered and inconsistent. I was nervous taking on the magnitude of everything that lies outside my limited knowledge and experience regarding social media, but I liked Tony's pitch. Tony offers clarity and a thorough, comprehensive approach to focusing your presence online. Working with Tony helped me understand branding and how focusing my online presence affects every aspect of promotion and interconnectivity between the many different sites and content streams, an area I was not only limited in understanding, but reticent to begin. He also helped to take what felt like a challenge - combining a multifaceted high profile career in entertainment with my burgeoning academic credentials - and turn them into assets that fuel each other. Tony Howell - remember that name for all your website and social media needs! The man didn't slap me in the face once! And with my luddite's understanding of all this, that's saying something!! I can't recommend him enough."
-Noah Racey, Actor, Director, Choreographer, Educator, Seattle, WA
“Hands down, you want Tony at the helm. He is knowledgeable, reliable, thorough, totally informed and available. He truly guided me through a process that resulted in a fabulous new website as well as a better understanding of my larger goals. I wish I'd worked with him years ago!”
-Sarah Bierstock, Performer, Playwright + Producer, New York, NY
“My online presence was haphazard, dated, and semi-professional. Now, people oooo and ahhhh! Initially, I was concerned about the cost, but both referrals and the vibe I got from our first talk convinced me to say yes. Tony Howell is my digital Superman! Almost as soon I called for his help, he swooped in with clarity, precision and style to rescue my website. His work is excellent—the most professional, beautiful and personalized reflection of my career that I could dream of. The way Tony saw me was unapologetically successful. That’s hard for those of us who hesitate to celebrate ourselves and tend to minimize who we are. His point of view was so shocking to me! He helped free me to see myself from the outside and stop judging myself based on where I wish I was. We’re so hard on ourselves. Tony’s celebration of my achievements actually allowed me to celebrate them, too. I will be forever grateful for that shift in perspective.”
-Monette Magrath, Actor, New York, NY
“Tony and his team provide a full-service online presence that embodies authenticity, honesty and integrity. Tony is unique and one of a kind! I adore him, and would ask no one else to help me re-brand and re-build my online presence. His combination of digital savvy with an incredible sense of artistry is second to none. Tony has the ability to really see you and give you options of how you CHOOSE to be seen! He knows how to find you, and create with you. His knowledge, his instinct, his ability to hone in and make things clear, makes you feel safe and ready to explore the possibilities with him! There is mutual love and respect. Before working with Tony, my web presence was basic and uninformed! Now, my entire online presence has become more professional, and easier to access from the voice studio, to the blog, to my work as a performer and speaker. It has also helped me guide my own work and ongoing process as I develop and grow in the industry online. As Tony grows, you grow!”
-Susan Eichhorn Young, All Things Voice, New York, NY
“My web presence was pretty nonexistent. I was nervous I wouldn't have enough content to justify it, or that building a personal website would feel like it was about vanity and bragging, which I was not into. Alas, it’s the way of the world. Tony is the best! He makes it easy—totally helpful and full-service. He’s super fast, super knowledgable, incredibly capable, creative, funny, and kind. I always envisioned if I had a website I would want a space for my music, and maybe somewhere for videos that I've made… but I didn't have those before I started (except a reel!). So having this website kind of forced me to do things on my bucket list I never thought I would get done. I'm so proud to have a little landing space that if someone wanted to do research on me they could find me online and I'm defined by MY terms, not some random bad YouTube video! In fact, Tony’s helped a few of my dreams TRULY come to fruition and I could not be working like I am without the groundwork he laid for me with the multiple websites he has created, and for all his social media and online help. He has helped me build three different websites now and I love them all. They reflect exactly what I'm trying to do and say. I think the teaching aspect of how to navigate/integrate social media is a HUGE differentiating factor between Tony and working with another website designer. What you're getting is way bigger than a website. I'm truly psyched and couldn't be more happy. I love Tony and can't recommend him highly enough."

“Prior to meeting Tony, my online presence was limited to my personal use of Facebook and and a few email blasts here and there. Working with Tony and his team to create my website was one of the best decisions I ever made in terms of my online presence. Tony offered me new ways of looking at my business as a business and new ways of looking at a website as a marketing tool. I was a initially reluctant—especially cost/benefit uncertainty. I saw samples of Tony’s work and also found, in our one preliminary chat, that he was energetic and enthusiastic to help create something that was truly an extension of ME, not just a cookie-cutter design format. From my perspective, you provided full-service design. You took my ideas and made them better. Focused them. Clarified them. But allowed - and encouraged - my style and taste to shine through. I have had many people reach out after seeing my website and the comment I hear most often - and frequently from people who 'thought' they knew me - has been, ‘I didn't know XYZ!’ I love how classy and elegant it looks—artistic while also being professional. I also love that he ended our first design by teaching me how to do the updates myself.”

"Before Tony? Wix. It was cheap and easy for this low-tech gal to update. My hesitation switching to Squarespace was monetary, and then being able to update it myself. I decided that if I want to move to a higher level in my professional career, my online presence should reflect that. Tony has been my friend for a number of years and I knew I would be in capable hands with him. Tony creates professional websites and branding for creatives in the arts—very seamless and catered to personality. I had a high paying contract and Tony was there performing with me! We decided to go for it. I loved our process. It was very individualized and lots of attention was paid to detail. Tony also asked me really tough, specific questions and I’m glad because that only made my site better that much better. People love the format, the simplicity, and clarity. I've gotten 100% positive feedback. All the time, I get told ‘Thank you for your website. It was very helpful for us (creatives) to get to know you and your work. And it’s beautiful.’ A lot of friends ask me where I got it done. I’m very proud. They also love my new pictures taken by Justin Patterson Photography (who I cannot say enough good things about). I’m still working on being more Squarespace savvy, but if I have any questions, I know I can contact Squarespace Support, too.”
