JJ Ignotz is an established, multi-faceted photographer in New York City, ready to photograph your Love, Life and Business. JJ photographs out of Studio 806 her studio space that she also rents out in Chelsea and has been running her own photography business there since 2008. JJ has photographed for New York institutions such as the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Fresh&Co, Murray´s Bagel, Uncommon Schools, Hallmark and Scholastic as well as a myriad of other businesses. In editorial work she has photographed for Jenny Yoo, The Groomsman Suit, Rhone Apparel and Fair Harbor Harbor Clothing. Her work has been featured on busses, buildings, banners, and media ads nationally. JJ loves working with Tony Howell´s clients because they are interesting people passionately pursuing their artistic dreams.
JJ first picked up a camera as a tween after finding a camera in her parents closet and went on to become a cum laude graduate of Ithaca College where she studied cinema and photography with a minor in marketing. JJ is effervescent, enthusiastic and is always looking through her viewfinder in New York and on all of her world travels. When not capturing moments or travelling JJ can be found with friends or tending to her 30+ plant children in her NYC apartment. JJ also is known to throw and block punches as a competitive boxer, she has competed at Foxwoods Casino and Barclay´s Center for the finals in the Golden Gloves competitions where one of her matches was covered in the Daily News.
