Heather Townsend is an American actress and singer based in Chicago. A former lawyer turned actor, Heather demonstrates it's possible to have beauty and brains. As a proud wife and mother of two, she also shows that you can "have it all" ...you don't have to choose career or family.

Why did you become an actor?

It started young—my grandfather (who was a wonderful singer) really encouraged me to perform... and I was hooked. I loved telling a story, using my imagination and connecting with people.

What are you currently working on or towards? 

I am currently in the early stages of creating a new cabaret show.

 

If you could offer advice to your younger self (and/or young aspiring artists), what would it be?

Be patient, do the work, have faith.

Ease of use and reflection of the individual or business being represented.

How would you describe the process/experience?

Working to refine how you want to represent yourself on a website requires a lot of self-reflection. You were there to help me work through that process and execute our shared vision. It was incredibly efficient, informative and empowering.

 

What responses or results have you received?

I’ve had a number of folks tell me that it really reflects who I am, which is exactly what I wanted. I’ve also received a lot of comments about the clean, modern lines and its ease of use.

 

What's your favorite social network? Why?

Facebook. Instagram and Snapchat are my daughter’s domain.

 

What's your favorite place in Chicago? Why?

My home. It’s full of family, dogs, food and love.
