Leap and the net will appear!

Days before we launched Becca's new website, she emailed us with great news—she's going back out on tour with Wicked!

The response from her website announcement was also one of the greatest we've seen. It's evident this young lady is not only talented—but more importantly, loved.

For those that don’t know you, tell us a little bit about yourself!

In the last year, I've taken a rather big leap. After two-and-a-half years on the road with a truly amazing show and company of people, I ended my time touring with Wicked. Why, you ask? For Love. My husband of 5 years, Ryan, and I sold our home and said “Sayonara” to our life in NYC and relocated to Cincinnati while he attends grad school at UC/CCM, where he's pursuing a double masters in business and arts administration. Go Bearcats!

So, I have happily accepted the task of defining myself in a new city. The last 10 months have brought us so much joy both personally and professionally in ways we didn't even expect… so, I guess you could say, "I lept, and then net appeared!"

What are you currently working on or towards?

In mid-June, I'll be returning to Wicked for a brief 3-week engagement! Here in Cincinnati, I am having a great time making connections and working both in the commercial industry and as a teaching artist, and am looking forward to working more in films and on stage.

What’s the best thing that’s happened to you from social media?

I love how social media connects people. While I was on tour, I never ceased to be amazed at the connections or reconnections I had the opportunity to make with friends, because one of us saw that the other happened to be in the same city we were in at that moment.

What's your advice to aspiring artists?

This business requires a lot of you personally. The difference between being an artist and many other professions is that YOU are the product! The amazing thing about that is how sweet the rewards are when you achieve them. However, it makes everything (both the successes and disappointments) feel much more personal.

My advice is: Fall in love with auditioning, because before you can do what you love, you have to book the job!

Why did you choose CSM to build your website?

CSM is the complete package. Not only are their designs sleek and easy to navigate, Tony and his team are incredibly professional and prompt. In addition to that, CSM doesn't just build your website, they give you the tools to maintain your site and help you learn how to create the online presence you wish to have!

What responses have you received from your new website?

I've received so many wonderful compliments! Here are just a few:

  • “Love the site. Your pictures are perfect; captures your outer as well as your inner beauty.”

  • “I love the iPhone format! Great!!!”

  • “So cool. I would hire you!”

  • “Excellent site. Well done, great photography, easy to navigate, informative and not cluttered. A winner!”
