For those that don’t know you, tell us a little bit about Sulekha!
Hey there! I'm an actress, writer, sometimes comedian, and producer. I have a degree in Business Administration (that I unfortunately am not using) and I have a masters in Interior Design (that I currently don't use either). But everyone needs a degree, right?!
What are you currently working on or towards?
So, I'm working on getting my own show. It's a dream and a big goal, but I believe I have a unique quality and story that most people can relate to. I've been focusing on writing some specs and plan to shoot it soon.
What’s the best thing that’s happened to you from social media?
The best thing is to meet people from all walks of life and to be recognized for my work. It's a great feeling and it's what keeps me going in this daunting industry.
What's your advice to aspiring artists?
Know your brand and get it out there through all avenues of social media. I know actors fight this because we want to be known as chameleons who can play any part, but if you can brand yourself in the right way and create a buzz you ultimately will be able to do that.
The more you become your true self the more people will love you and the more people will not love you.#courtneyromanoquote#lifeofanactress— sulekha naidu (@sulekha_naidu) November 3, 2015
Why did you choose CSM to build your website?
Tony and his team are able to help you define your brand and carry that across through your website. They walk you through a detailed questionnaire and pictures, as well as help you execute your vision on a cohesive platform.
What responses have you received from your new website?
All positive! Everyone from industry critics, colleagues, to family and friends love it. It shows my essence, it's informative and attractive. It has really helped me be consistent in my vision of who I am.
